Sanlorenzo SL86A | Best Motor Yacht of the Year
The Sanlorenzo SL86A made its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. Developed by Sanlorenzo in collaboration with Studio Zuccon, the SL86A represents a new evolution in yacht design with the application of the asymmetric concept, which maximises living space while maintaining the elegance and charming design style the shipyard is renowned for. Applying the asymmetric principle to a smaller yacht is a complex challenge, but the design speaks for itself: it’s unique and enhances the interior and exterior spaces.
Sanlorenzo SX100 | Best Layout (30-40m superyachts)
The Sanlorenzo SX100 enhances the space that connects the interior to the exterior. The spacious living area has a covered lounge saloon and features a beautiful translucent design, which seamlessly blends in with the large fully equipped outdoor beach area and two spacious side terraces leading out to the sea.
Sanlorenzo | Best Imported Brand
Sanlorenzo, China’s Best Import Brand of the Year, has had an astounding market performance throughout 2024. This year, Sanlorenzo launched the SP92, SL86A, and 50Steel, the world’s first superyacht equipped with green methanol reforming fuel cell system. Its sister company Bluegame also delivered the BGH-HSV (Hydrogen Support Boat), the first chase boat completely powered by zero-emission hydrogen.
At the strategic level, Sanlorenzo acquired Simpson Marine at the beginning of the year and then swiftly announced the acquisition of Nautor Swan, marking the achievement of key milestones in Sanlorenzo’s vision. Sanlorenzo will continue its “Road to 2030” and lead the industry’s path to carbon neutrality, making sustainability and technological innovation the growth drivers in the decade leading up to 2030.
Bluegame BGM75 | Best Layout (catamaran powerboats)
The ultra-efficient Bluegame BGM75, designed by world-renowned high-performance hull design expert, Philippe Briand, was conceived as a chase boat for the America’s Cup. With an optimised Volvo IPS propulsion system, the BGM75 requires 50% less power than a monohull of the same volume. To further improve efficiency, the hull is carbon fibre, and all non-structural components and furniture components are made of lightweight materials.
Nautor Swan 88 | Best Monohull Sailing Yacht of the Year (50-foot and above)
The Swan 88 debuted at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival and is Nautor Swan’s first hybrid sailboat. It incorporates many emerging features designed to reduce its impact on the ecological environment. These include energy-saving systems and sustainable materials while ensuring that the performance or comfort of the yacht is not affected.
Looking ahead, Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific and Simpson Marine are poised to continue the journey of yachting excellence. With a strong commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge design, we are excited about the future and the new milestones we will achieve together.
