Sanlorenzo has proudly announced the successful sale of a new 62STEEL superyacht. Currently under construction at the Sanlorenzo shipyard in La Spezia, the owner of this Sanlorenzo 62STEEL is set to take delivery of the vessel in 2021. This impressive 61.87-metre Sanlorezo motor yacht is designed by Officina Italian Design and is Lloyds classed. She is the second hull of Sanlorenzo 62STEEL series.
The 62STEEL comes with three interior layout options and two top deck profile options – one offers a fully enclosed top deck with wheelhouse that creates a private owner’s deck below, while the other a more conventional arrangement of an open sun deck and an enclosable veranda under the mast.
The interior layout allows the Sanlorenzo 62STEEL to accommodate up to 12 guests in either a five or six stateroom configuration. Her large volume and 11.8-metre beam allow for an array of onboard amenities and guest areas, all which can be easily accessible via an elevator. A Jacuzzi plunge pool on the sun deck, a swimming pool on the main deck, a full beach club and spa, large tender garages, a cinema and a state-of-the-art entertainment system, and a helipad on the bow are all key features of this Sanlorenzo 62STEEL. Her twin MTU diesel engines can achieve a cruising speed of 15 knots, topping out at 17 knots.
The Sanlorenzo range currently includes 14 models in three lines spanning the SL line of planning fibreglass yachts to the SD line of semi-displacement fibreglass yachts to the Superyacht line. The Sanlorenzo 62STEEL falls into the latter, sitting well at the top of the range that includes the 40 Alloy, 460EXP, 46STEEL and the upcoming 64STEEL.
